How do I clear my browser history, cache, and cookies?

Clearing your browser history, cache, and cookies helps our applications run better on your computer. Your browser cache remembers parts of pages, like images and videos, to help open them faster during your next visit or log in. So if you don’t clear your cache from time to time your browser may not load the newest version of our site or software. We make updates regularly to our software to bring you a better experience every time and clearing your cache will help you during your login and study process.

In Google Chrome:

  1. Click the three stacked docks in the upper right corner of the web browser.

  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. Click on the Privacy and security option.

  4. Click Clear browsing data.

  5. Select the longest time range.

  6. Check Browsing history, Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files.

  7. Click Clear data.
     


In Firefox:

  1. Click the three stacked horizontal lines in the upper right corner of the web browser.

  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. Select Privacy & Security from the menu on the left side of the page.

  4. Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data.

  5. Click Clear Data.

  6. Scroll down again to History.

  7. Click Clear History.


In Microsoft Edge:

  1. Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the web browser.

  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. Select Privacy, search, and services from the menu on the left side of the page.

  4. Scroll down to Clear browsing data.

  5. Click Choose what to clear.

  6. Check Temporary Internet files and website files, Cookies and website data, and History.

  7. Click Delete.
