What are badges and how do I earn them?

A Credly badge is a credential that shows your learning progress. You can share a badge with employers or schools to show that you’ve earned this credential from Essential Education.

To accept your badge, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Progress box and click the "Claim Badge" button.
  2. Create a Credly account to access and share your badges.
  3. When you log in, click “Accept Badge.”

To email a badge to an employer or teacher, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the badge on your Credly dashboard.
  2. Select the “Share” button.
  3. Under “Recipients” at the top, enter the email address to which you want to send your badge. Add a message in the “Custom Message” box, then click “Send.”
  4. Your employer or teacher will receive your badge in their email!
